It is interesting the point you make about my assumption that all advisors are male. Personally, I enjoyed the experience of having male and female advisors in the same ratio (50/50). However, (at least in science) the chances of having a male advisor are larger than having a female advisor. It is a matter of probabilities and how is academia nowadays. Said that, that was not my intention and if that is something that can be extracted from this text it is just a matter of how I have used the language, because it does not represent my personal experience.
